I thought I was safe from any head trauma because two people on here marked that no heads got squashed. 8 minutes in there's already someone's head getting blown off with realistic gore. Jesus fucking christ. Now at 11 min 35 seconds and the scene with that body is finally over.
40 min mark, someone is shot through the face on only one side. It's not the whole head or near the cranium, just the side of the cheek where the tongue and teeth are damaged and on full display. What happens during the next scene where the sun is out is important but if you must skip, 43 minutes 35 seconds is when you're safe.
Two more mostly off-screen headshots around the 1 hour 4 to 6 minute mark. A little blood but the shots are cut really quick.
There are a couple of shocking scenes where violence comes out of nowhere but aren't actual jumpscares. Then at 1:34:03 (1 hour 34 minutes 03 seconds) there is a LOUD and visually grotesque one that will 10000% scare the shit out of you. Someone who appears to be decomposing comes back to life. There's no indicator beforehand that it's going to happen.
"Here comes Uncle Mick!" is a line that's spoken right before the body jumps up. It's a total of 2.2 seconds before it happens.
Not really but the antagonist threatens to put a guy in a dress in response to the guy freeing the woman who was original captured, and then the victim calls the antagonist the f slur for this. But no ‘man in a dress’ joke in the sense this section means.
HorribleHermione is wrong, we do see the living woman again. She was sent towards the protagonist as a decoy, the protagonist, thinking it was the killer coming around the corner, strikes her and kills her. She falls into a pit of spikes… very much seen again and very much dead.
The gore in this is extremely brutal and realistic throughout the entire film. I'm completely fine with gore but it was close to my limit. Definitely way more cruel than the first movie.
