In one of the scenes at the pyramid during the start someone with telekinesis grabs a person and there’s them into a human pretzel. When the gif guy visits Angel we see Angel have bone break out of his skin as he regrows his wings. Later in the movie a person is killed via powers, his skin is seen peeling off his face

James McAvoy plays a wheelchair user when he is not one and as far as I know has no physical disability. This is not the first time he has played a character with a disability he doesn’t have, in my opinion “spilt” and “glass” are worse than this movie as those movies directly reinforce and spread harmful misinfo about DID/OSDD, but is still offensive regardless. Mutants could also be seen as an allegory to disability, especially in the case of “visible mutants” who cannot hide or are forced to hide their differing looks. Mutants are also systematically oppressed and genocided.
