Report
Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were arch-enemies, they were closest of friends, working together with other mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known.

People treat Raven like a kid, but she's at least as old as Erik & Charles, probably older because she ages slowly. She appears nude in Erik's bed to seduce him.

Emotionally only. Nothing sexual, and no physical violence, but the most horrible psychological violence.

there is heavy alcohol use by one character who develops an alcohol addiction in the next movie, but i wouldn't necessarily consider any of the alcohol use in this movie to be abuse

A woman in lingerie walks through a room full of men, several of whom proposition her luridly, and you can tell she's not comfortable with it. To be fair to the men, the event they're at is sort of a sex party with several women walking around in lingerie, ready to provide sexual services. But from the perspective of the woman who's there for another reason, the situation is clearly unpleasant, and she looks very vulnerable among the men.

If it's about seeing something go through skin, then yes. Towards the end of the movie, a coin is telekinetically forced slowly through someone's head, going in through the forehead. You'll see it coming in time to look away.

Not explicitly, but there are references to Erik being tortured in the camps as a child and (SPOILERS) as Erik kills Shaw (as Charles is in Shaw's mind at the time) Charles feels the pain of him dying and screams out in pain/anger, could be considered torture if you think about it long enough

This can be debated, it's more like someone taking control of other people either by fully stopping them from moving or making them do something against their will or knowledge. So in a way possession but not in the ghost kind of way.

One of the mutants spits fire. The first time she does it - when the young mutants are taking turns showing each other their powers - is reminiscent of spitting out a loogie.

I don't know much about PTSD, but someone is definitely traumatized from being in a Nazi concentration camp as a child, from being separated from his mother there, from his mother being shot right next to him (after he's told he can prevent it by demonstrating his mutant power, but doesn't succeed), and from being experimented on.

There are scenes inside a submarine, which is bad enough for me... In two different scenes, someone's movements are restrained with bending metal; in the first scene the metal basically acts like ropes around the persons's arms and neck; in the second the person is trapped and being slowly squeezed by a very large piece of metal that's moving closer and closer to the wall he's up against. We also see someone in a cell with a (mentally, not physically) uncomfortably low ceiling.

One of the mutants' power consists of generating large spinning rings, which seem to consist of very bright red/orange/yellow lights, and throw them around.

Possibly. I got a feeling that there might be some sexual/romantic chemistry going on between two of the male mutants. When one of them is killed - it takes him a few moments to die - the last person he addresses is the other one, and he keeps eye contact with him until the very end.

The basic conflict in this movie, as in other X-men movies, is that some humans look down on mutants for their abilities and appearances, and some mutants look down on humans for their lack of special abilities. The individuals who look down on those who aren't like them sometimes speak or act in a manner that makes that attitude obvious.
