A dog tells a joke about a squirrel forgetting to store nuts for the winter, and claims it's funny because the squirrel dies. Other than that, no animals die.

No dead animals are shown but the bad guy mentions how many of his past dog slaves have died and there's a joke in one scene about dead squirrels.

This movie might be rather hard to watch if you have a fear of heights considering the very premise of the movie. There is a lot of falling, though only the main antagonist actually falls to his death (though there is also an imagination sequence where a main character falls to his death).

In the opening sequence, there is a scene where Carl and Ellie are in a doctor's office, and it is hinted that Ellie had a miscarriage or is infertile.

It is never said explicitly that Ellie has cancer but she could have. She later dies in the hospital.

There are pictures taken with flash. There's also small sparks when the house disconnects from the ground along with lightning.

Ellie had a miscarriage/learned that she was infertile, and sometime after that she died offscreen.

Kind of. For the first half of the movie, Russel believes Kevin is a boy, when in reality, she’s a girl. Russel doesn’t change Kevin’s name after figuring it out

A few guns are used throughout the movie, although this is an animation so all guns used aren't graphic at all. I think one of them is when Charles Muntz is shooting a few of the balloons on top of Carl's house to weight it down, and another when 3 of the dogs are in fighter planes and are attempting to shoot Russell with darts. It's comedic.

Mild amount of blood seen on Kevin's leg after she's bitten, too.
