Not really, unless you count Polpo making a semi-joking statement about how his mind goes blank when he eats or that moment Giorno thought his body was a bed. We can't tell if that was a joke or not because turning into a bed might've been his ability of some sort.

Some stands may look like ghosts, tho they aren't technically. Still, many can be very creepy or disturbing. There is a ghost girl in part 4, but she doesn't do anything particularily creepy. She has a ghost dog with a cut neck, however...

Several. In part 2, a car crashes after the driver had his hands cut off. In part 3, the antagonist forces a man to recklessly drive, as well as a crash in an earlier episode.

In the first episode of Golden Wind Giorno uses one of his abilities to send the damage from an attack back to his attacker, Leaky Eye Luca. This causes the back of his head to cave in with an imprint of the shovel he was attacking Giorno with.

In Part 5, two male lovers are tortured and then killed by the italian mafia. While the actual killing is not shown, there is a panel of the aftermath, which is very graphic. In Part 7, a bisexual woman is killed.

Some parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure do have a happy ending; for instance, Part 4, Part 2, and others. Some do not, but most have a 'good' ending but with one to several character deaths along the way. (Only 3 major characters died in 4, however all but one died in part 6)

It's not for psychological release, but I remember at least one bit in part 3 where a character cuts a message into their arm. I'm pretty sure people have to injure themselves to survive fights in a number of other cases.

A big part of Part 5 is that the Italian mafia sells drugs, including to children, which plays a large role in a character’s backstory. Dio and his father are alcoholics. Many characters, including a monkey, a 50 year old woman who looks twenty, Italians, and a seventeen year old boy are chainsmokers.

In part 3, Muhammad Avdol is the first of the main cast to die, and it happens twice. The first time is a fake death (that was believed to be real to the audience, but then he surprisingly returns) and the second time he dies for real due to a stand attack, both times he is the first to die

In part 1, Jonathan gets scolded and sent to bed without dinner by his father, as well as some neglect and some period-typical physical punishment such as getting smacked on his fingers. Dio's father abused his son as well. Part 2 has a racist attack against a black teenager. In part 4, the teenage protagonist Josuke gets kicked by his mother and has a gun pointed at him by his grandfather, but it's played for laughs and not implied to be abusive. A young boy also is implied to have grown up neglected and gets killed by a man impersonating his father, though he is brought back later. Two teenage characters also were physically abused by their father in their childhood. Part 5 has the protagonist abused as a child by his stepfather, as well as neglected by his mother. A father wants to kill his teenage daughter. Part 7 has the protagonist neglected by his father as a child/young teen after his brother died. Part 8 has a young boy who is forced to crossf

In part 8, there are a lot of implied sex scenes. In part 2, a character peeps in on another character who is naked, getting ready for a bath. In part 3, a little girl is almost sexually assaulted by an orangutan, there is a scene where 2 men become magnetized and stick together, where they accidentally get into multiple inappropriate positions, and there is sexual joke when a character transforms into a little kid, and has his crotch cleaned while he’s taking a bath, this as played as a joke as he “doesn’t know why it feel so good.” In part 4, there is a mention of a criminal who has raped many people, but it’s never shown on-screen. In part 5, there is an implication that a 13 year old boy was sexually assaulted by his teacher, and there is a joke that implies one character was giving another character a b*****b In part 6, the main protagonist mentions that she was caught masturbating, and says she is jealous when she learns about an organism that can have sex with almost anything. In part 7, there is a scene between two woman where one tries to seduce the other, as she puts her crotch on the others face, and a 14 year old was attempted to be raped by 2 separate men on 2 separate occasions.
