John is seen abusing moonshine at the behest of one of the townswomen. He is drunk enough that he needs to be assisted up and carried around.

It isn't explicitly shown on screen. In the opening credits sequence, a group of children are seen holding a black cat with a noose resting around its neck and a sign that says "Damn Yankee". The camera pans up and we watch the boy holding the cat pull the end of the noose while the audio is of a cat yowling. We never see the cat's body, but the implication is clear.
The actor-cat looks relaxed in the boy's arms and isn't shown in any physical distress, so you can rest easy there. I do recommend muting the moment if that's something that gets to you (like me).

A woman is made the 'guest of honor' at a barbecue if you catch the meaning.
We see her finger and arm cut off in an earlier scene, and we see her limbs being roasted over an open flame later in the film. The Cannibalism in the scene is implied and could be debated since Buckman states that her burning is 'symbolic'. We see people eating beans, but no explicit flesh consumption.

A woman's finger is cut off with a knife while she screams. In the following scene her arm is cut off with an axe. We see both the stump and the limb. She succumbs to blood loss shortly after.

A young woman's finger is cut off while she screams. We don't see the moment of amputation, but we do see the finger fall to the ground and we see her mangled hand in the next scene.

We see fingers cut off, arms cut off, an implied horse-powered quartering, a bloody body punctured by nails, roasting limbs, and crushed bodies. For the horror squeamish, Two Thousand Maniacs! may be a rough ride. For the horror initiated (especially HGL fans) this will be fine. The blood is extremely bright red and the film cuts away from dismemberments or tortures, just showing the aftermath.
