There is a scene during the Get back up again" song which shows several animals in their world being harmed, burned, and/or consumed in a very rapid sequence. This is brushed over as comedy.

No, but do be aware there is a recurring plotline involving hugging a character who does not want to be hugged. The movie implies not wanting to be hugged is a character flaw that he overcomes by the end

The plot revolves around intelligent beings trying to eat other intelligent beings. They are not the same species and no one gets completly eaten onscreen

Multiple instances of characters getting substances sprayed in their eyes like lemon juice or glitter. Also typical cartoon eye shenanigans like holding another character's eye open or stepping on a much larger character's eye but somehow not harming it at all. No eyes are shown looking any more damaged than some redness, though

There's a character that farts glitter frequently. There's also a lot of seeming to eat someone but then spitting them out, but it doesn't linger on any saliva that comes with them

There is a classic glow-up sequence because a character does not feel attractive, although this glow-up does not change their body shape. Another character is upset to not fit in clothes they wore when they were younger. But no one specifically struggles to perceive their appearance that we know of

Not sure if it's clinical PTSD, but a character's tragic backstory is used to explain their refusal to participate in behaviors that they believe led to the tragic event they experienced

Narration and a storybook format where the characters look like they are in a book, but nothing more explicitly fourth-wall breaking than that

I find the movie's message problematic. One of the trolls is clearly severely depressed (and, we find out later, traumatised), and no one tries to understand him or actually help him; rather, they pretty much try to pressure him into being all happy-go-lucky like the rest of them, almost directly blaming him for being depressed (like he's just a party-pooper). They're not malicious as such, but they're terribly insensitive, and because no one reaches out to him to find out what's wrong, he can only deal with the situation by living in isolation as much as possible. He's made to feel like he's WRONG, because trolls are SUPPOSED to be happy and carefree all the time. At one point, his depression "rubs off" on the rest of the trolls (clearly indicated by all the colour draining from them, so that they become grey like him) - as if depression were a contagious disease. As a person suffering from chronic depression, I was seriously bothered by the entire attitude. People blaming you for being depressed, like "you're ruining it for the rest of us", and trying to pressure you into being happy, as if you had a choice... making you feel like an outsider, not showing a willingness to listen to how you're actually feeling... acting as if a song and a dance and some glitter could make you all fine and dandy if you only chose to open yourself up to it... yeah, that doesn't exactly make things easier for you. So yeah - bad message.

My memory is hazy on this but I think one character says something like "I thought you were a boy" to a character who is a boy but said something feminine, and the boy is angry. It's a one-off joke and there's zero exploration of gender in this movie

There are two mildly suggestive jokes, both of which will almost certainly go over a child's head. A character says "I think I had a sarcasm once" and a couple on a date says they need to "work up an appetite a different way" before going roller skating
