Reporter Ema Garay gains visibility amongst digital journalism by catching criminals who tend to evade justice in Bariloche city, in Patagonia Argentina. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Leo Mercer, a social worker and referent, who ends up being the main suspect of her investigation on the disappearance of a 16 year old girl. While Ema tries to discover the truth, she will have to confront herself.

sexual abuse of children and teens is a major part of the plot. one girl was raped before the events of the series and there's brief non-graphic discussion of how it happened. we later see her identifying her rapist in a police lineup. at the end of episode 3 we see a different girl go into a hotel room and there's a long shot where it's implied she's going to be assaulted but there's no audio; she runs out of the room and a masked adult runs out after her and tries to pull her back into the room but she's able to get help from guests from other rooms. (SPOILER) Fran Briguel attempts to rape Martina but she's able to get away from him and he's not the person who kills her.
