A dog is briefly seen walking along a chainlink fence. It stops, stiffs, and relieves itself. Human being have died in the tens, but the dog remains unharmed.
Not at length, but the person/authority running the killing game (the voice over the announcer system) is referred to by one character as “our new God.” Not sure if that really counts but figured it’s maybe worth mentioning. At a different point, a character says “you will rot in hell for this.”
There is no sexual assault at any point in the film.
There is a male character who behaves inappropriately towards a female coworker by frequently staring at her, making unwanted advances, and accusing her of leading him on, but no sexual assault comes of this.
A man is held in a headlock for a while during a struggle with another character, but he breaks free. This is the only instance of attempted strangulation/asphyxiation in the whole movie.
No characters die by asphyxiation at any point in the film.
i don't know why people are saying there are no jumpscares. when the first people start dying, there's a very loud, sudden gunshot sound followed by the people dropping to the ground and it's unexpected because it comes out of nowhere. it really startled me when i watched it.
There is lots of violence all throughout the movie, but none of the characters perpetrating it are shown to be explicitly mentally ill. The violence is just violence.
No explicitly autistic or mental illness related meltdowns are depicted at any point in the film.
Many characters are shown breaking down, panicking, crying/sobbing, hugging themselves or one another, acting irrationally, lashing out, etc., all throughout the film, but this is because of the situation they all find themselves in.
It is not due to any mental illness or neurodivergence.
Characters are seen in states of extreme anxiety, panic, and distress all throughout the movie. They can be seen screaming, gasping, crying, hyperventilating, etc.
No characters are explicitly stated to have PTSD, but one of the main characters is mentioned as having a military/special forces background, and could possibly have or be interpreted as having some manner of PTSD.
No; There are no mentions or depictions of large age gap relationships at any point in the film.
There is one clear romantic relationship depicted in the film, and the two characters are in the same age group/very close to one another in age.
A few other characters make mention of being married, but we never see their partners. There is no reason to believe there are major age gaps between them.
