Five women along with two riotous backing singers come together to create a makeshift punk-rock band in order to enter a local talent contest, but in writing their first original song, soon discover that they have a lot to say - and this is their way to say it.

a police officer (in uk, so only armed w a knight stick) is attacked by 3 men
later her fellow cop finds her covered in blood, handcuffed to a fire escape, hanging from her wrists, with her clothes pulled off the bottom half of her body. she's unconscious and the male cop speaks creepily and takes photos of her before getting her down and carelessly dropping her so her head hits the hard cobblestones. it's later mentioned she might have permanent brain damage
