ReportAfter 20 years of living in Washington, D.C., Mark Klein seeks much-needed solace by moving to the remote wilds of West Virginia. To ease his loneliness, he sends regular video updates to members of his OCD-support group back in the city. But Mark gradually realizes that despite his new, isolated setting, he may not be alone. From the endless woods surrounding his home, something else is watching.

But to be fair, one character is described to be finally calm after 2 valium (it doesn't seem like she took them willingly) and is shown lying on the main character's bed (after repeatedly saying she wants her own room), still wearing her shoes. So it's pretty clear she didn't intend to fall asleep that fast, in that place.

A cat's skull is found mounted to a tree. Later, a photograph of a recently deceased cat is shown.
