Okay, so there is this dog the main character guy gets. He has no idea where this dog came from or how to interact with this ominous dog. He doesn't name this dog, even, and then the dog is just gone and out of his life. So the dog does not die, and we do not grow any attachments to him, but he does disappear (.... magically?). Also, it's something to mention that main character talks about a dog he owned who had passed years ago.
Main character removes his teeth with a pair of pliers. It is a very graphic and bloody and is shown on screen. It it towards the very end of the movie. If you don't want to see this scene, just skip it as soon as he holds up a pair of pliers.
Very visually and audibly graphic shot of main character taking out his teeth with pliers. It's like an ASMR video of someone damaging and ripping their teeth out. Lots of blood, very uncomfortable, I would skip if this triggers you in any way.
The parents are not killed or die on screen, but they do disappear for unknown reasons. There's a missing person's report filed, and it's heavily implied the parents have disappeared and are gone.
