(SPOILERS) Early in the game, Max talks to Safi about her past, and you can determine if Chloe, a main character from the fits game, is alive or dead based on the two endings of that game. The options are "We broke up"/"We grew apart" (depending on whether or not you said she was "a high school sweetheart" or "an old friend") and "She died".
In Episode 2, a minor antagonist is killed after coming into contact with a vision of his past self, causing a paradox that basically wipes him from existence. You can choose to either try to save him or push yourself away for self-preservation (which is noted as you killing him from then on). No matter what you do, he dies by being sucked into a ball of energy and disintegrating. After that point, the entire world forgets he ever existed, and any in-game social media posts about the character are altered.

No transphobia depicted, though the trans character vaguely mentions life being hard because of her being trans. She is also played by a trans woman, this is so important in trans rep and provides a needed spotlight for trans actors and VAs to get into the industry. It is also important for portraying a trans person, for example using a cis man’s voice, especially an exaggeratedly deep one for a trans woman, is quite transphobic and often shows us as “men dressing/pretending to be women”, having a cis woman voice them is slightly better and reflects their true gender identity, getting audiences to see we are no less a woman than cis woman, but having a trans person, especially of the same or similar gender identity is the best way to portray us as it it is true representation by trans people for trans people.
