A psychological thriller about Mie, a young woman with amnesia who is locked up in a secure psychiatric hospital. Mie is visited by Detective Inspector Wolkers who claims she was the last person seen with the vanished Thomas Spectre. As a witness and prime suspect, she appears to be the sole key to this mysterious disappearance. In order to solve the puzzle and find Thomas, Mie has to reconstruct her lost memories and find her way back through the dark labyrinth of her recent past.
The act isn't expressly shown, however it is heavily implied. Also, the victim is momentarily visible being wheeled away on a stretcher, but the scene is very short.
Prescription drugs are seen and used throughout. They are also abused on two occasions. However, no "hard" drugs are visible or referenced within the series.
A few hunted rabbits and a single dead bird are shown in various scenes throughout the series. A cat's corpse is shown in one scene, but never again afterwards.
The series centers around a car accident victim, and bits and pieces of the crash are shown throughout all 9 episodes, as well as the whole event in a single episode followed up by another full car accident.
See: "Is there amputation?" "Does a car crash?" Also, someone is shown going through a windshield a handful of times (the same scene, reviewed in different episodes).
