When an unknown military force invades Bushwick, a Brooklyn neighborhood, young student Lucy and war veteran Stupe must rely on each other to escape and survive.
Father John has lost hope due to the martial law take over and kills himself via gun to the chin in front of Lucy on screen. Not graphic, but kind of upsetting. It is very fast and you don't see the aftermath of his body or blood going everywhere. Still very unsettling though.
Stupe gives Lucy SOMETHING that calms her down and gets her high so she won't feel the pain of losing a finger and having it stitched up with anesthesia. He doesn't tell her what it is, but she takes it willingly knowing to trust Stupe knows what hes doing and it will make her feel better.
Belinda just straight up does drugs, mostly a bong, while Lucy is in the other room. There is a long shot of just her taking multiple hits.
