When an attack on the Kingsman headquarters takes place and a new villain rises, Eggsy and Merlin are forced to work together with the American agency known as the Statesman to save the world.
This movie contains 58 potentially triggering events.
YES why would they kill the dog there is literally no gain from this he just gets sad. The little guy just gets blown up right after you see him calmly relaxing on his cute little dog bed. rip JB 2014-2017 you will be missed. I hate whoever thought it would be a good idea to further Eggsy's development by killing this dog for no reason. There is a dog towards the middle of the film that is threatened but not harmed. two robot dogs are killed
There are many drug addicts involved ( both hard and soft drugs ) and their inclusion is pivotal to the plot / there are some main characters involved with drug addicts.
Someone is pressuring to shoot a dog midway through the film. People who watched the first film will know that the gun is filled with a blank. The dog isn’t shot and is very much alive.
Not HELD but Eggsy "dives" underwater for a long period of time to get into the Kingsman headquarters, and [SPOILER] Harry is forced to nearly drown in an attempt to reset his memory (they flood the room he is in and watch while he struggles to breathe, parallel to the first test in the first movie). I don't know the timestamps but the first one happens right in the begging, after he gets in front of a lake. The second one Merlin and another character are looking at Harry in a white room through a one-way mirror, while they talk about strategies to get him to remember his time at Kingsman.
At least two scenes - one with ropes (I think), the other with handcuffs. The second one is very brief; it just shows a close-up of the person's cuffed wrists through a window, so that we see that the person has been arrested.
A man and women have sex, but she doesn't know the reason he agrees to is so that he can insert a tracking device into her vagina without her knowledge or consent (which he does, and we see a close up of it traveling inside her vagina)
Two people are put in a meat grinder head first (two different scenes). I don't know if that counts as crushing, but I'm choosing to answer yes. Unfortunately, I don't remember whether anyone is crushed besides those two, but it's not unlikely, since the movie is pretty violent and has some creative multi-participant fight scenes.
No one's head gets completely squashed, but someone is put headfirst into a meat grinder, and at several points during the movie paralysis causes people's eyes to pop and mouths to spurt blood.
A guy gets thrown into a grinder head first so it's safe to say that everything was mutilated. You also see a man have his fingerprints burnt off but it's done by a lazer and not at all graphic.
It is not very intense but a man goes through a few painful (torture like) activities including his teeth being grounded flat, his finger prints being lazered off and getting a molten gold tattoo that burns his skin.
Several people's eyes explode graphically at several different points, and a character who lost an eye before the events in this movie briefly takes off his eyepatch, but it is not graphic or bloody.
It's hard to say, because while some nasty and very violent things are done to people, there's almost no blood. One example: Two people are put in meat grinders (two different scenes). The second time we see the blades with a bit of flesh on them immediately afterwards. Somehow, both scenes involve little to no blood, but we see the ground meat in both. We also see the empty eye socket of someone who's been shot through the eye, but other than that, I can't think of any more instances at the moment.
One of our main characters is visually impaired in one eye due to a visible injury, the actor isn't. Another character has prostestic limbs, the actor does not
there is both an actual needle & a type that looks moreso like a pen than a needle but i will give timestamps for them all. keep in mind im a bit generous with timestamps.
1. pen looking 1: 42:00-42:10
2. pen looking 1: 1:33:45-1:34:02
3. briefly shown: 1:45:50-1:46:04
4. used & shown on screen: 2:02:00-2:02:50
There are at least two scenes in which someone can't escape the space they're in: One person is kept in a locked padded cell (not TERRIBLY small), and two people are trapped inside a ski lift gondola (not small for a ski lift gondola) that's spinning like crazy while moving on its downward path far above the ground. Unfortunately, I can't remember right now whether we see anyone in a very small space.
The cinematography style is very disorienting. While the camera doesn't necessarily shake", it does spin around and move very quickly in a way that reminded me a lot of shaky cam. It's worst in the fight scene at the very beginning.
The amnesia trope and bad representation of amputees as well as implying lack of empathy, NPD/ASPD and mental illness are bad things and made the villain the way she is, including her being called a “psych*p*th” A character is doubted because he experiences hallucinations. Joke about cotton from southern American (white) person which ties back to slavery
Appropriation of teepees, spirit animals and shamans amongst other things and use of the f slur. The legalization of drugs is framed as a bad thing and the words “junkie scum” are used along with language that imply drug users are worthless. Implication that not loving anyone will leave you sad and lonely which isn’t necessarily true
The closest it gets is a girl in her underwear and Eggsy shirtless, but the camera moves in the direction of her private parts following his hand which is a bit explicit by implication? Happens right after they get into her tent in the festival and Eggsy comes back to the main room after calling his girlfriend.
Very crude language towards women (mainly with regards to a mission target but also by a guy to his colleague right after she revives him and he has amnesia...)
