Louis C.K. is back on HBO in an ALL-NEW hour of raw no-holds-barred stand-up comedy! The creator and star of the 2006 comedy series Lucky Louie, performs in front of a live audience in LA at the Henry Fonda Theater. Louis C.K. covers issues near and dear to his heart like marriage, lying to your spouse, having kids and losing your privacy, and obligatory sex among husbands and wives.
This tv show contains 55 potentially triggering events.
Yes, basically every parent of the main cast is abusive. Frank and Monica are both neglectful alcoholics, and Frank is verbally abusive as well. Terry Milkovich is verbally and physically abusive, r-pes his daughter, forces his son to have sex with a prostitute and threatens his son with a gun multiple times. There are multiple references to other abusive and neglectful parents throughout the show -- if parental abuse is a trigger for you, I would strongly caution against watching this show, because it's in basically every episode.
(TW: Sexual assault): It is revealed that Mandy Milkovich is pregnant with her father's child because he "gets drunk and mistakes her for her mom". Mickey Milkovich is forced to have sex with a female prostitute by his father when his dad catches him having sex with another man. Frank Gallagher at one point is under the influence of powerful drugs and Karen Jackson has sex with him on camera and posts it to the internet. Debbie Gallagher r*pes her "boyfried" at the time while he's drunk. (These are all the instances I can think of)
debbie intends on giving herself an at home amputation of about three toes but passes out from the pain and frank is seen snipping the toes off with garden shears
theres so many vomit scenes so if you have emetophobia..i really wouldn’t recommend watching. vomit scenes pop up randomly due to the drug/alcohol abuse and you don’t have enough time to look away!!
In season 2, episode 11, Monica attempts suicide. Frank has a history of alcoholism that continues throughout the show. Lip is also an alcoholic, which is focused on later in the show.
There isn't enough time for me to outline every sexual encounter on the show. If graphic nudity/sex scenes bother you, I recommend not watching the show at all, because they are almost unavoidable.
One runs into traffic in an early season, someone works with dying dogs in a later season.
