i don't believe any animals were harmed for the making specifically, but they use taxidermy as props

There’s no deaths shown in this episode, but Dawn shares a nasty story about killing a bird. The details are graphic enough that, while I am not checking YES, the story may be triggering to bird lovers, so you should consider hitting the mute button after Dawn says, “I hate birds.” Happens about 25-30 minutes into the episode.

There's a lot of smoking. Justin is S2 does a lot of cocaine. The big one that will be a trigger, though, is in S1 Marjorie is given a needle with heroin and injects it. She describes how good it feels, and then she realizes it's a higher dose/messed with and dies. If you want to skip it, it's after she promises the police chief she'll say anything he wants her to when they're in the hotel room.

A character in season 1 is shown several times using drugs (cocaine, I'm guessing).

It’s possibly Ephebophilia that is shown, not Pedophilia, since the girl victim is 15, but there isn’t a category on this site. I would also guess, based on the (often incorrect) overuse of the word Pedophile, a majority of people don’t actually know the difference between the words. So, I checked YES for this one as a possible trigger, since being sexually assaulted under 18 is a trigger for lots of people, no matter the classification. There also isn’t an official diagnosis given in the series, so the abuser may not even be any of the classifications, but that is a much deeper conversation than needs to be had on this site.

Repeatedly stabbed in the groin. I didn’t count, but it was possibly a double-digit number of stabs to the crotch.

Not shown, just described in detail by a coroner. Goes along with respiratory failure being the cause of death of a character.

In S1 Cam is shown as a boy scaring his parents with a mask while sleepwalking, and his mom points out he's wet himself and degrades him for it.

If this is your trigger, you definitely need to skip the opening scene. The aftermath of someone’s remains is shown right in the first few minutes of the episode. Having already been eaten alive by multiple creatures (rats, insects, etc), the dog starts chewing on some of the corpse parts, which is shown up close for a few seconds.

just started watching, will add timestamps as i watch. SEASON 1: foam at the mouth starts 44 minutes into episode 2, lasts a few minutes, no actual v* but very intense and was still triggering to me. v* is 30 mins into episode 4, it only lasts a couple seconds but it's pretty sudden, mild visual but no audio. about a minute into episode 6, they show the v* scene again, this time with audio, the visuals are slightly worse and the v*ing lasts longer than it did in episode 4. SEASON 2: episode 4 opens with v*, its straight away, there's close-up visual and audio, this scene was very triggering to me. theres another v* scene 41 minutes into episode 4, quite sudden with some audio and graphic visuals. episode 7, 22 minutes in, graphic audio and some visuals. SEASON 3: 40 minutes into episode 7, mild audio and no visuals. 21 minutes into episode 8, Saadia grabs a bin and clutches her stomach as if she's going to v* but nothing happens

It's the reveal of the end of Season 2: Guilty Party. The killer has developed an alter and was hallucinating throughout the story.

In season 2, there's a woman, Judith, who self-harms. She uses a razor to cut into her thigh. You don't really see the self-harming itself, just the scars; in the scene, she is interrupted right before she's going to self-harm.

No, but in S1 a huge plot point is Sarah was cut out of her mother's womb before her mother was killed. The cutting is shown and the killer is holding the baby after, but we don't see him pulling her out.

One character does mention a history of creating a non-factual newspaper story, using false emails, to allege possible sexual abuse between a father and daughter. No scenes depicting incest are shown or described in detail.

In S1, it's revealed that when Justin bought the land his house is on, he evicted a family and they were forced to squat in an abandoned building. They use a propane heater to keep warm, and this kills them. It's both talked about and their bodies are briefly shown. In S3, there's a man in ragged clothes shown a few times who's referred to as being homeless. He gets chased out of the coffee shop several times by the owner for stealing food.

In S1, Sarah's grandmother is kidnapped by the Executioner after he runs the two of them off the road. She wakes up with weights tied to her ankles and the Executioner shoves the weight off the dock. You see her panicking trying to stay on the dock and the beginning of her drowning, both from the Executioner's perspective and from hers.
