The Trickster is a minor recurring villain whose style is somewhat evocative of clowns.

There is one scene where a life raft inside the flash's suit is inflated by a metahuman who can control technology with his mind. The comical framing of this scene might be offensive to sensitive viewers.

To everyone saying Barry and Iris are siblings, they're not. Joe never adopted Barry, and admits he knew Barry had feelings for Iris before he moved in with them. The exact quote from Joe is, "Kid, I watched you love my daughter before you even knew what love was." Also, Barry said at one point while talking about his moms death and moving in with Joe and Iris, "so there I was at 11, my mom was dead and my dad was arrested, and I had to move in with the girl I liked. And i never stopped liking you. I love you Iris, I always have and I always will." He was in love with her long before she made the comment about him being like her brother, he never saw her as his sister, and she never really saw him as a brother.

Not squashed, but in the first season, a villain's father explodes heads via a bomb in the neck. When one of the bombs detonates, we don't see the head explode, but we hear it and characters discuss the headless body and "jagged" neck.

Major plot point of the first season especially is the main character's mother dying in front of him as a child. This scene is shown countless times throughout the series.

Yeah, but it isn't because they're LGBT. [SPOILER] is shown flirting with a person of the same gender once. The show doesn't make too big a deal of it. Later, the person dies due to timeline complications. Also, one character who is openly gay does die, I think. LGBT oppression in camps is shown in a crossover episode, but the episode can be skipped.

The Flash gets drunk at his bachelor party. Social drinking is common. A minor plot point is a parent in the past was neglectful partially due to alcohol abuse.

In the first season, a brother-sister thief duo discusses their abusive father. The sister goes into detail by saying their father hit them to "teach them lessons". She exposes a large scar on her shoulder and says her dad hit her with a bottle when she was young (<10 y/o). Says she was mostly raised by her brother. At issue in the episode is that the father puts a bomb in the sister's neck to manipulate the brother and threatens to kill the sister if he doesn't do everything he says. The bomb is removed and the sister is saved.

Barry is told that his version of what happened the day his mother died never happened, and that the real killer was his father. He is also told that he was simply being paranoid when he suspected Devoe.

After a duo of villains kidnaps [Character 1], they torture his brother (we learn he recovers but don't see it) to extort information. In a separate episode, the same duo kidnaps [Character 2] and tie her up and make threatening comments to her. They put a trip-wire bomb under her chair (everyone escapes unharmed).

A character takes a shower and the shower is shown turning to ice. This is only to show her ice powers, but it also causes an anxiety attack in her. Partial, not full nudity.

There are suggestive scenes, there's one scene where two characters start to undress and make out. Many times it is implied on or offscreen that characters are partaking in adult acts.
