All the characters are teenagers roughly around 16. Some of the challenges borderline on abuse and they get more vicious and brutal as the show progresses.

I'd say this much. Duncan is shown to not have a very supportive home life (his father asks if they really do love him in spite of all his crimes, much to his mother's chagrin), and most of his actions involve being a douche to other competitors, especially Harold.

Sorta. In the very first episode, after Lindsay, a 16 year old character, is introduced, Chris, who is an adult, says "not to shabby". The age of consent in Canada, where the show takes place, is 16, but Chris' birthday is in November of 1978, and the show first aired in July of 2007, which would make him 28. There is still an age gap of over 5 years, so yeah, there is pedophilia in Total Drama.

Lewd comments directed towards characters, particularly female characters, aren't uncommon. Chris sometimes flirts with Lindsay who is underage. Sierra harasses Cody throughout season 3, such as giving him unprompted foot massages and kissing him against his will, and he is clearly traumatized by her at points.

Near the end of the first season there is a challenge where Heather has to shave her head. It goes wrong and all of Heathers hair is shaved off. She remains bald for the rest of the season. In season 2, she wears a wig but it frequently falls off or is lost and her still bald head is visible. When Season 3 starts, her hair has grown back.

In episode two, when Owen is about to dive off a cliff for the challenge, both Gwen and Geoff have confessionals saying how they're sure Owen is going to die. Owen himself has the line "I'm gonna die now. I am going to fricking (totally in the US version) die now." But it's from a place of fear rather than actually wanting to die.

DO NOT TRUST THE NOS. First episode in less than a minute 3 flashbangs occur as a transition sequence.

Multiple times the characters swear but are censored, leaving it vague and not explicit to what they say.

The show is framed as if it’s a real reality show, so there is numerous instances of characters sitting alone in a room talking to the camera to directly convey their thoughts and feelings to the audience in the same vein as shows like Survivor or Big Brother

In the original version of 1x01 (Not So Happy Campers- Part 1) in Canada, Chef Hatchet says to plus-sized contestant Owen ,,Come here fat boy". In the US the line was altered to ,,Come here big boy".

A running gag throughout Revenge of the Island (the fourth season) is that Jo is misgendered by Lightning. (It is not intentional, Lightning cannot tell that Jo is female, and she is AFAB)

a pretty common joke is that chef (a very masculine, threatening, and dangerous black man, which is not a great look already) wears dresses sometimes. whether it was his or chris' choice depends on the instance, though. this joke is most prevalent in action, so if that's an issue skip that season.

Character with DID (no longer called Multiple Personality Disorder *as called on the Show) called Mike appears in TDRI (4th) and TDAS (First part of 5th) seasons. He is teased by Scott in early episodes and *cures* his disorder in 5x12 by pressing a button :/

In season one, Heather is blatantly racist to leshawna. In season two, Duncan makes a comment calling chef a “transgender troll” as if being transgender is an insult.

Every character is a parody of a TV stereotype such as the manipulative b***h who brings almost all the conflict, the sassy black woman, the nerdy guy who tries to act cool but makes himself look like more of a loser, the hot guy who does nothing but flex etc. None of said stereotypes cross the line to offensiveness and there are no stereotypes of LGBT people period.

Several instances of nudity, all of which are censored. A characters bra is torn off by a branch during a challenge but is again, censored. Still, pretty surprising considering it’s a kids show.

No, but one episode of Action shows all but 2 contestants (Leshawna and Duncan) believing themselves to be dying from an illness. It can be unsettlijg to watch, especially considering that the characters are still 16 to 17-ish in Action.

Every season ends with the money being lost or destroyed. Season 3 and all seasons onwards all end with the characters in mortal peril although they are later shown or said to have survived. An antagonist is the winner in Season 3.

While it's never outright stated, when Don talks about the Artic Circle he mentions it's "the home of favourite storybook characters" and a picture of Santa next to a snowman and a candy cane is shown on screen.

No drowning exactly, but in "backstabbers, ahoy!"(S4EP5) Zoey is stepping on the air pump, which causes Jo to almost drown. But Zoey gets pushed off the pump by Anne Maria.
