pretty iffy. tonya is horribly abused by both her mother and her husband jeff. she fights back at jeff mostly. there is one scene where she throws a skate at her coach, it could be said the abused becomes the abuser here. this only happens once.
A teenage girl’s breasts are cupped without consent, shown on screen. Same character is later kissed forcibly without consent by her abusive husband while being kidnapped by him at gunpoint.
There's a scene where her mother throws a knife at Tonya, and she gets stabbed in the arm. It's not a major injury, but looks creepy, and there's blood.
Tonya spits out blood at the very end of the movie, id look away when she is laying on the boxing mat after getting her mouth guard punched out of her mouth
No. In fact, the cops allow the main character to be kidnapped by her husband, even though her head was bleeding and there were loaded firearms and open bottles of alchohol in the vehicle. She explicitly says she no longer trusts cops because of this.
No but there is a small amount of medical content. There are a couple of scenes of sounds being patched up, and someone has an oxygen canister to assist their breathing, and an asthma inhaler is used.
Nobody gets severely injured or killed (at least humans, but there's a Rabbit killed by gun), but Tonya's husband shoots on the Ground and a piece of Asphalt flies up and hits Tonya in the head, injuring her.
