Psycho-Pass is set in a futuristic era in Japan where the Sibyl System, a powerful network of psychometric scanners, actively measures the biometrics of its citizens' minds. The resulting assessment is called a Psycho-Pass. When the calculated likelihood of an individual committing a crime, measured by the Crime Coefficient index, exceeds an accepted threshold, he or she is pursued, apprehended, and either arrested or decomposed by the field officers of the Crime Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau.
In season 2 episode 9, A sadistic little boy stabs two dogs to death during an experiment into the criminally asymptomatic. Blood and the dogs corpse can be seen.
One of the main characters has a robotic arm. A man’s arm explodes after being shot by a Dominator, causing him to bleed to death. Another main character gets their arm crushed and has a robotic arm for the rest of the series.
In season 1, one of the side plots involve the death of students. In season 2, the main plot stems from a large-scale accident mostly involving children.
Step father creeping/ going through a side character's room. She describes it, to another character, and it sounds like no assault took place but the step father is definitely acting predatory/disturbing.
Two supporting female characters are shown clothing themselves after sleeping with each other and are implied to have sex with each other on a frequent basis. A female villain seduces girls to draw them to their death. They are then dismembered, have their body turned to plastic and put up as strange nude art displays.
Towards the end on season 1, a plane crashes, however nobody dies. In season 2, the plot revolves around a huge plane crash where almost everyone dies, however the crash isn't shown.
'Dominators' is a device used throughout the series (more info can be found on the shows wiki). Though they don't have bullets, they heavily resemble actual guns. Actual guns are occasionally used in the show.
