Synopsis
The second season of American Crime Story, titled The Assassination of Gianni Versace, examines the July 1997 murder of legendary fashion designer Gianni Versace by sociopathic serial killer Andrew Cunanan. It is based on Maureen Orth's book Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U.S. History and was developed by Tom Rob Smith, after the departure of series creators Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski.
Episode 4: David's dog, Prince, is shown a few times with his leash tethered to furniture and later going into his crate. Although the dog witnesses some gory events, nothing happens to him. He runs from the apartment when the building manager opens the door. Later in the episode, it is stated that Prince is fine and staying with her.
In a flashback scene, David's father takes him hunting. His father shoots a duck and retrieves it from the water.
