There are several discussions and implications of racism (specifically racism towards black people). Not sure if any characters say anything racist on screen
Rebel soldiers cut off the hands or arms of people they have captured, including children. There is a scene where you see a knife/sword being swung to cut off people's hands, and hear chopping and the people screaming, however you don't actually see the hands come off. You later see a young boy who was rescued from the rebels with part of his arm missing, however the injury is fully healed.

Not really. One of the main characters tells the others to go on without him when he has been shot, however the wound was severe so it was likely that he'd die either way.

The main father survives, however rebel soldiers shoot many civilians throughout, some of whom were probably parents. There is also a scene with a young child crying while holding on to an adult's dead body, presumably a relative.
