End of S1 and beginning of S2, non-recreational use of illegal drugs. There's also a couple scenes in which characters use party drugs. Someone also tries to buy medicine for another character in relation to disease management; later use of said drugs.

Talked about in the end of the second season, but not shown on screen. I personally still found it very triggering.

!!!!!!!BIG SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wolfgang's mother is raped by Wolfgang's father, who is also her father. Confusing, I know, but it involves incest as well as sexual assault and domestic abuse. Only the domestic abuse is shown, but it can still be incredibly triggering.

A main character and a couple of minor characters are cops. This is particularly bad in the first couple episodes, where there's some egregious use of white saviorism by the main character cop to show he's "one of the good ones." This lessons a lot after the first couple episodes and as the show progresses, and by season 2 he's not in his job anymore. But there's a significant amount of him abusing his position and power to get what he wants to solve the mystery of the show, especially in season 1, that's never questioned or portrayed as anything but positive and helpful. (While he does get in trouble for some but not all of his actions, it's portrayed more as the punishment being bad and hurting the cause of the main characters than it is a rightfully deserved punishment for abuse of power.)

There's also a scene in which a mild insult for cops is compared to actual discriminatory slurs in a pretty offensive manner, equating insulting cops to things like racism, homophobia, sexism, etc.

Nomi’s mom during S1 is really aggressive in the misgendering- deadname/pronoun use consistently in conversations with people using correct terms, comments making fun of chosen name, conspiracy theory about dangers of HRT. Nomi is supported by many others but it can feel pretty rough.

There is a Jewish character in one episode who fits the harmful trope of Jews being involved in money in a negative way.
There is also an episode that uses the Holocaust memorial in Berlin as some kind of mental location (one of the characters does live in Berlin? It isn't clear whether he is at the memorial or not) and although this isn't technically anti-Semitism (depending on the intentions of the writers) it is still potentially upsetting.

Yes, there are minor LGBT characters that die, but since the main 8 characters are considered to be pansexual and are very openly portrayed that way, those deaths are not considered to be a part of the bury your gays" trope.

There is very little portrayal of differently abled folk but the focus on the writing is to support differences and demonstrate that bigoted language and behavior is hurtful, misguided, and behavior of antagonists. Neurodivergent representation is positive in the protagonists.
