I went to the Secret Screening for Urchin and will go into a bit of detail on the scene below:

At around 1 hour 15 minutes there’s a scene with a dead mouse which is fed to a character’s pet snake. I’m quite sensitive to these sorts of scenes but it was quick and didn’t bother me: leave the room or fast forward when Nathan asks Mary if he can borrow some money from the tin. The scene only lasts about 2 minutes.

A character has a pet snake but it’s a very very brief scene - if you prefer to skip then start skipping after Nathan gets out the tin of money at Mary’s house and skip until Mike leaves Mary’s house altogether.
