Tonto is unbelievably misrepresentative of Native American people in this adaptation. Not only is he played by white actor Johnny Depp (who has made the dubious claim that he is of partial Native American descent) but he also looks nothing like a real Native American. Tonto’s face is painted like a clown and he wears a dead crow on his head. It doesn’t help that he was played by a Native American actor and had a more authentic design in the original show.

Black background characters die pretty early on but they’re not the first deaths in the film.

Only if you count the bandit in a dress, he doesn’t die onscreen but it’s pretty clear that he was killed in the mine.

Nothing explicit, but there are scenes that take place in a brothel and there is a character that is a brothel owner.
