He doesn’t die first but there is a black man who dies and gets turned into a zombie and when he comes back he is a better man and part of that is him speaking in a more “proper” manner than he was before which is bothersome. It just annoyed me that he goes from using AAVE and having an accent to speaking completely differently when he is “bettered”. Maybe he was just pretending to speak that way before to sound tougher since he talks about acting in a way he didn’t feel inside? Still it’s a little uncomfortable so I thought I’d mention.
