Not on screen but some episodes we learn so people are being abused by a belt or similar object. They are usually heavy hinted before talking about it so if you get the sense that maybe the cause, its probably best to decide if you want to skip before they talk about it more sersiously
There is an episode where a gay man is caught by police attempting to have sex with another man, which was illegal at the time. He is then taken to court and sentencing for this, with references that he may have to go through conversion therapy to return to his family. The episode is sympathic to him and his sexuality but fair warning.

In the first or second episode with the Spanish mother it’s mentioned she’s been having them since 14 years old or younger and her husband brought her back from where he was in a war so he was presumably an adult. A child can’t consent anyways but he doesn’t even speak Spanish so they can’t communicate but are shown to be passionately in love. It was bothersome though she’s very much an adult in the episode.
In season 7 episode 4 there is a 15 year old pregnant child bride
In S6E6, it is revealed that a Somalian patient has undergone female genital mutilation, and the episode tackles side effects during her pregnancy that happen because of this.
I don’t know why people said yes. There is no body horror in this show as it is completely grounded in reality and real things that can happen to the human body . There are some intense physical disabilities shown? but those shouldn’t be classified as body horror.
In the Season 10 Christmas Special, one of the carts at the circus catches on fire and burns down, but everyone makes it out safe though there is suspense added.

There are several deaths in childbirth or from complications afterwards. Additionally, some episodes have parents dying outside of the context of childbirth. S6E8 has a mother with young children die.
**all instances of actual v* being shown, not including when it is just mentioned. I am a severe emet, but this is one of my favorite shows and is so worth it if you can skip these scenes!**
S1 E2 - when Chummy is delivering the baby that is in breech position, the pregnant mom v*. This is the birth that happens during the wedding. She says a line about feeling sick but it happens right after.

If you don’t want to miss plot points but still want to watch, mute every time you see the blonde woman (first appearance is in the waiting room of the clinic.) Mentioned a lot, and mostly sound, almost no visual.

Though some characters are anti abortion because of the time period, some aren’t and the show approaches these storylines from a pro choice angle by writing the women who do it as sympathetic and showing clearly why they’re in situations where they’d have to do that. It doesn’t demonize abortion.
In some of the Christmas episodes, Santa is talked about as if fake or Fred is shown dressing up as Santa for a Christmas show. But the show also isn't a show that kids would enjoy in the first place.
Season 6, episode 6 features the threat of direct nuclear warfare as a central theme. No explosions are shown, however the cast legitimately believes they are about to be nuked and the episode will most likely be triggering to those who struggle with nuclear explosions, "end of the world" scenarios, and similar themes. The "next episode" preview in the previous episode (6:5) also shows a clip of this, but is right at the end and can be easily avoided by stopping the episode when the preview starts. || Season 10, episode 1 includes a scene where characters are watching footage of nuclear bomb tests: the explosion is shown clearly on screen for several seconds. One of the major themes of the episode is nuclear radiation and the effects it can have on people, especially a new born child, this is discussed several times thoughout and cannot easily be skipped. || Nuclear weapons are briefly mentioned in several other episodes too, however these ones are brief, unimportant to the episode, and can be skipped without effecting the episode's plot
