Yes. (TW mentions of rape, stalking) - In The Blood of Olympus, a demigod girl is stalked by a woman-hating male, who after being rejected and killed by a goddess he falls in love with (it's implied that he forced her hand; probably defense, as some stories in his mythology involve him raping girls), spends the rest of his life (to present day) hunting and killing girls, especially girls in service of the goddess. several girls are killed in an attack he leads in chapter 24. the rhetoric he uses is reminiscent of misogynistic hate groups. In any case, he's not a huge part of the book

In the third book, "The Mark of Athena", there are many references and descriptions of spiders, including one monstrous one. These are mentioned again in book four, and as a character suffers from arachnophobia her anxiety is also discussed a bit.

None in this series, though the series is about Greek/Roman mythology, which includes many, many depictions of sexual assault (ancient Greek society was incredibly patriarchal and misogynistic and did not consider women's consent to be important-- in several stories it isn't even specified if there was consent.) I think the only time it's ever mentioned in the franchise is in one of the guidebooks, Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, where it is heavily implied twice in the Demeter chapter. And I haven't read the very newest ones, the Chalice of the Gods and such.

I'd like to object to this, the bandit was eaten by his turtle before he went splat. Besides, he couldn't even go splat, he was tumbling into an ocean. Not to mention Son of Posideon, no doubt probably had water breathing stuff as well. But yes, he falls and dies, but not in a way that goes ker-splat.

At the start of the series, two characters are essentially kidnapped by a deity who swaps their places, and the first 2 books of the series covers the adventures they go on as a result of the swap. A third character gets kidnapped sometime between the 2nd book and the 3rd book and is held prisoner until being rescued at the end of the 3rd book.

No technical suicides, though a character complains that they should have been left to die instead of being saved, partially because they were on a time sensitive mission, but also because they felt they weren't worth it. Said character is also one of the more self-sacrificing ones, and on multiple occasions has to be stopped from trying to help in ways that would get them killed (this is mainly in book 5)

There are no slurs (nor use of identity words like gay, anyway) in the series, but an LGBT character deals with a forced outing and fear of repercussions. No direct homophobia but it may be triggering nonetheless.
