That's kind of the deal with Magneto's backstory, but he isn't entirely an abuser.

During their first meeting, Jean Grey is caught in a hold by Wolverine while trying to administer an injection (she believed him to be unconscious, and Wolverine just woke up after a car crash in a previous scene). He lets go of her when he realizes she's gasping for air and determined her not a threat. Later, Jean also gets her face covered by hardened mucus spit at her by Toad in a scene that makes it difficult for her to breathe. Cyclops helps her remove it, shortly after.

I can’t believe people said no to this. When Senator Kelly is made a mutant, he squeezes his whole body out of his cell bars, and his head is very distorted.
This happens again towards the end of the movie when he dies (loses all form and becomes water, including his head)

A character falls but is later revealed not to have died.
In the final fight, some of the villains fall and then we don't clearly see them land, so maybe they're dead, but then again, maybe not. You might be supposed to think that they are dead, but this is the kind of movie where they can definitely have survived if the writers want to bring them back later.

One of Toad's mutant abilities is expectorating a gross mucus-like film from his mouth. Jean Grey gets her face covered with it at one point.

It’s quite evident that Magneto and Wolverine have PTSD; the first has turned into mega villain, the second accidentally stabs a young girl with his claws when he wakes from a nightmare

Hate speech is directed at mutants, so it's fictional hate speech, but parallels to real hate speech are pretty obvious so it may still be disturbing.

Particularly in the scene where the villains get in a stand-off with a large number of armed police officers: there's a lot of threatening to shoot people, and one person is actually shot at and nearly killed.
