Yes. A family dog (a Golden Retriever) runs away during a cold winter night. Later in the movie, the dog is found dead, having fallen through the ice and drowned/frozen in a pond. The dog (a Golden Retriever) is let out of a truck around the 45-50 minute mark and runs away. His body is discovered later in the film after he falls through the ice of a pond. The death happens off-screen, but the body is shown.
