Carmen and Juni think their parents are boring. Little do they know that in their day, Gregorio and Ingrid Cortez were the top secret agents from their respective countries. They gave up that life to raise their children. Now, the disappearances of several of their old colleagues forces the Cortez' return from retirement. What they didn't count on was Carmen and Juni joining the "family business."

A few characters get tied/chained up in genre-specific ways. The musical number has the Flooglies hanging from stage ropes to simulate 'flying', but given the context they probably cannot get out on their own. Floop himself gets trapped inside what can be best described as an AI simulation, but he gets out.
(Spoilers) Floop’s Fooglies are people who were disfigured into humanoid monsters with extreme features. Much of the plot centers around this. There are also robots that have human thumbs in place of their limbs and head.
The Fooglies are kind of similar to clowns however. Although they may not have the stereotypical red nose, frizzy hair or painted face, they do have weird costumes and disfigured faces.
- use of the term "ps*cho", which is a slur "you made ps*cho robot children and swallowed up my sister"
- use of term "psychotic" as a descriptor to mean "crazy", and not someone with psychosis. "i've always been methodical, goal oriented, psychotically so."
- makes fun of lisps "have a seat, Mr. Lithp, you'll be more comfortable", "It's Lisp."
