I am 100 % sensitive to dog death & I would not consider this “yes, the dog dies.” There is a brief shot of a luminescent animal head. No sounds, action, torture.
The protagonist sees someone, goes to the group to tell them and they tell her she didn't see what she saw. Might be triggering to some, but it's not a long discussion.
Spoiler- when a character breaks her leg she has a exposed fracture and her friends restrain her while resetting her leg. There are also very intense claustrophobic scenes.
Pretty graphic leg break. The bone is shown, and eventually, someone pushes the bone back into the leg in order to put it in a splint; all of that is shown as well.
In the first six minutes of the movie, there is an accident. A four year old dies, but we do not see the child during or after the accident, only before. It shows the mother wailing.
i don’t think i agree with @SeenIt as there is more context (SPOILERS AHEAD) that the protagonist with PTSD finds out her friend was cheating with her (the protagonist’s) husband, as well as the protagonist thinks that the friend killed her other friend (which she did but it was an accident). it’s not necessarily because of her mental illness although it’s towards the end of the film where she does injure the friend and leave her to die (pretty maliciously) after a very traumatic second and third act so *shrugs*
The monsters are nude, but they hide it quite well. You don't see genital parts, when a monster is facing up front, it gets hidden by a torch or they are shown with their back towards the camera. Only a monster woman shows boobs but also not that graphic.
SPOILERS: Depending on if you watch the original version or the US cut, either everyone dies or only one character survives. The US cut removes the final scene, which in my personal opinion ties everything together far better, despite being very dark.
