What's really going on is that his female superior is trying to seduce him, and he has to be polite, so he agrees to have dinner with her. His fiancée gets the wrong idea because she sees them leaving together and later sees a lipstick print on his face from when the superior kissed him across the corner of his mouth without his consent.

Sort of, maybe, but it's a tricky case, not least because it's a gremlin rather than a man. The gremlin drinks a potion from a vial that's marked with a symbol consisting of the standard male symbol and the standard female symbol linked together, whereupon it's suddenly wearing a dress, high heels, a wig, makeup, long lashes etc. - while retaining a rather traditionally masculine-looking body (very muscular etc.). The camera makes a big deal of the reveal, so to speak, starting with the muscular legs in heels seen from behind, then moving upwards. I don't know; it's no clear-cut, but I got a vibe, so to speak.
