Bittersweet. Old Nick has been caught (they gloss over this and any upcoming trial proceedings that may come down the line), Jack is recovering well and Joy seems to be after having finally accepted help post suicide attempt. But obviously Joy in particular is still traumatised and Jack may be effected later in life when he comprehends more of his childhood.
