A doctor performs organ transplants on a person using animal organs. The animals are still alive and are “pets” of the doctor. They seem pretty happy and even assist in the surgery, but it’s still animal abuse.
In one scene, Marvin is having a slapstick fight with an orangutan. They hit each other and Marvin twists the orangutan’s nipple and jumps on it like in the WWE. Marvin and the orangutan are perfectly fine afterward

The scene the previous comment is referring to isn't as bad as initially described. Yes the protagonist (while acting like a dog) chases and fights with a cat, but it's relatively tame. You see bits of hair flying everywhere and hear the cat screaming but it is certainly not "skinned alive" and isn't even hairless when it comes out of the bushes. There are a few patches of missing hair but it otherwise seems to be physically okay. The scene is a bit uncomfortable as a cat lover, but I was not deeply disturbed by it like I thought I would be after reading the previous comment.

The doctor serves his pet rabbit to Marvin. You never see the live bunny or anything but it is still kind of sad

Marvin kills several cows and eats them offscreen. You see the cows running away from him but nothing else. Then there are extremely graphic descriptions of the mutilated cows bodies by the very distraught farmer. This was EXTREMELY UPSETTING to me and I had to skip because the scene went on for so long

After a fight with a cat he emerges from the bushes and coughs up a hairball. Just a hair ball and more coughing than gagging
