Matchmaker pairs a couple. She calls the guy to ask how the date went. He said it was great, and he’d like to see the woman again. Meanwhile, the woman admits he assaulted her. He completely lied about the date to the matchmaker. He ends up stalking the woman.
You don’t see it happen on screen, but one of Lucy’s clients gets assaulted by one of the matches made for her through the company. It’s kind of insinuated? She says the guy was drunk and followed her into the bathroom without her knowledge, corraling her, and assaulting her. I’m putting “yes” to err on the side of caution. Definitely triggering regardless.
Entire premise of the movie is objectifying the person the client is trying to get set up with. Sometimes it’s sexual, other times it’s another form of objectification.
