Crocodile Dundee
Movie • 1986 • Adventure
ReportWhen a New York reporter plucks crocodile hunter Dundee from the Australian Outback for a visit to the Big Apple, it's a clash of cultures and a recipe for good-natured comedy as naïve Dundee negotiates the concrete jungle. Dundee proves that his instincts are quite useful in the city and adeptly handles everything from wily muggers to high-society snoots without breaking a sweat.

No slurs, but there is really gross transphobic content in a bar and the bar celebrates it

Not actual alcohol abuse. A bunch of drinking in a bar in the very beginning with a game of punching a big guy to see if he will drop his shot drink. A bunch of loud drunks in vehicles are shooting at kangaroos later on.

Numerous animals die in the first half of the movie. There is an already-dead stuffed crocodile, then Mick kills a snake, drunk idiots shoot a wallaby or small kangaroo (not sure which it is), Mick stabs a crocodile through the skull, and Mick cooks a goanna.

afaic, snapping a snake like that to kill it is animal abuse. It wasn't attacking anyone, just near their camp which was in the snake's territory, so...

I hate this scene. Mick kills a snake with a snap-twist.

Mick shaves with a safety razor, then pretends to shave with a bush knife.

Note: In the new "Encore Cut", the scene in question is no longer there, so that version is safe for this, besides one bad thing in all versions: the statement that Sue says (while in the bush sitting down in front of a roast is roughly when she says this I think) that a former boyfriend "joined the gay Nazis", which came off at least to me as homophobic. The "f" slur is not used in this version, however, but that sentiment was homophobic.
However, in the original Australian version and the American "PG-13" shorter version, yes. There is a scene in which Mick Dundee himself (Trigger warning: s*xual assault) grabs a trans woman's crotch and misgenders her, and people in the bar say the 'f' slur and laugh at her.

Poachers use guns, and guns are used to scare them away. No actual humans are shot.
