season 5, episode "Two engagements and a funeral" Ivy accidentally has her dog put to sleep, Steve freezes its head to do the cryogenic thing but it gets swapped for a dinner the family prepares. they show the cooked head of the dog at the dining room table. it's graphic and disgusting. this is supposed to be a comedy but there's nothing funny about it, it's just shocking and horrific.

In S1 E4 "Grandfather's Cat", the cat Mrs Floxie, believed to be Lorna's reincarnated mother, is accidentally shot and killed by Ken when he is playing with his father-in-law's gun. Ken hides the body in an old kit bag and dumps it in the pub dumpster, but it falls out and gets returned to him.
