Odin's goats are killed, eaten, and resurrected every day. One of them seems to be ok with it, but Otis probably has PTSD.

The characters are dead and in Valhalla, so they can come back to life if they die within Valhalla. Because of this, the amount of injuries (including broken bones) is able to be higher than in other books

The majority of the main characters are dead and minors, as the story takes place in their afterlife, but their death scenes are described, and since you cannot permanently die in Valhalla, they often kill each other there, but are resurrected soon after.

You might consider the main protagonists ghosts, because they're dead, but they refer to themselves as Einherji and do not fall into the category of "ghosts" as is typically seen.

They don't call anyone the f word or the d word but derogatory terms are used by some characters to refer to Alex, who is genderfluid.

A father blames his child for being disabled, but he does not use slurs and is a very disliked character by the main cast. The book is pretty great when portraiting the deaf characters, though!

The book is very good at making sure Alex is gendered correctly. Whoever misgenders him/her is immediately corrected and they fix their mistake immediately and get on with their lives.

Yes, but not in the normal way. The main character (who is canonically lgbt) dies in the first chapter. He, however, goes to afterlife, and the end of his life is in no way the end of his consciousness.
Another character, Alex, is genderfluid. She dies and goes to Valhalla in the second book.
So yeah, they both die, but it is in no way a "kill your gays" cliche. The series is actually very positive on the subject.

Characters do a lot of fighting, so injuries arise from that. Additionally, during battles within Valhalla, death is not permanent and has no consequence beyond being out for a couple hours, so characters do kill each other, which can occur in a gory way, such as beheading
