In addition to some rooms with some tight-feeling architecture, there is a random chance to have a room with a seemingly endless hallway, and going down this hallway will result in it getting tighter until you're unable to move. An enemy will come finish you off. You are not required to go down this hallway, and if you know about this then you can just avoid it.
