“Crazy” and “insane” are used as insults. There is a whole scene where Mr mc Gregor jr talks about having an anaphylactic reaction to blueberries (I think it was) and Peter goes on a rant about how he’s supposedly faking his allergy, later in the movie they feed him a blueberry and he reacts and gives himself an epipen (then goes and runs around and is fine, even though epipens do not magically fix your anaphylaxis, they keep your heart pumping so EMS can help you and gives them more time to bring the reaction down with antihistamine medicine) it’s clearly written as a joke but can come off in poor taste and misinformed, especially if you’ve experienced life threatening allergies.
