When his best friend and podcast co-host goes missing in the backwoods of Canada, a young guy joins forces with his friend's girlfriend to search for him.
The main character is mentally abused and tortured to the point they don't realise they are a person anymore. Earlier they are repeatedly lied to about what has actually happened to them after passing out and having their leg removed
This is a very gory movie. I wouldn’t suggest it to someone who is sensitive to blood/gore. There are scenes where it’s gory and scenes where characters are talking and it’s graphic. The characters go very into detail about stuff during their conversations and it’s gory. So yeah, approach with caution.
There is a scene where the main antagonist is shown sewing someone's body parts together and stitching wounds, there are also a lot of stitch marks shown throughout the film
The images are not purposely shaky or flashing, they're from an old video with poor quality. I don't think its anything that could trigger epileptic events, but judge for yourself and be safe! :)
characters run a podcast called the not-see party, pronounced as nazi party, and hitler is mentioned a couple times. no characters are discriminated against, however.
I genuinely have no idea where people are getting the bestiality from. A couple crude jokes are made with a walrus baculum but nothing is done to actual living animals.
We don't see any car crashes, but there is a scene where a car is half submerged in a small lake. No character was harmed from this event, and we don't see the car entering the lake (just the aftermath), but it could remind one of a car crash.
There is a large amount of gore, including body horror and graphic images of mutated flesh. I would highly recommend not watching this film if that sort of thing disturbs you
You don't see anyone drown. You see someone struggling to swim and going under for a few moments before being helped, and someone else MAY have drowned or MAY have been killed and pushed into the water and left there; we can't know for sure.
