Not horror, but there is a lot of detailed talk about body parts, tendons, etc because of surgeries, limb replacements and other medical procedures on mummies.(and the injuries that make the procedures necessary )
Not violent blood and gore. The gore mentioned is relating to mummies and their injuries and body parts.
The blood is served to vampires in glasses. When the vampires do feed directly on humans, details aren’t given, it’s just mentioned that it has happened. (Unlike in the previous book where it was described and pretty gross.)
In Chapter 15 it rains blood.
In 15/16 there are hospital scenes where patients/doctors/nurses all are described as bloody or blood soaked
But in this world, the Demons aren’t evil, one is a godfather/uncle to the main character, Greta. And Hell is just another place, complete with bars restaurants, hospitals, parks & government bureaucracy, not particularly scary.
