First episode. Scene in the holocaust where an officer forces a woman to strip and chases her through the house during a party for entertainment, heavily implied being whipped by a riding crop, while SS officers laugh
About 30 minutes into the first episode a man is threatening to drown his wife/fiance/girlfriends puppy. The dog is heard yelping as the man carries it to a tub of water. Ultimately the dog survives. The people are distracted and the dog does not die. At least not on screen. That doesn’t make the sounds less upsetting so be warned.
There is a dead pig being cut open at about 16:30. Ed says he walked in on someone gutting a pig just before you see it so you have a bit of warning to fast forward through it. It’s a very short period of time, 10 seconds at most
The beginning of this episode it goes to Ted Bundy kidnapping two women, and killing them and then going back to perform sexual acts on them after they were dead it pans away and ends the scene as he's taking off his pants doesn't show anything but it might be triggering. This happens at it right about 4 minutes at the very beginning of the episode
I mean, the crime as extremely gorey. It did not feel to me like the film was excessive relative to the crimes, if that makes sense. Still, it sometimes cuts to severed body parts unexpectedly
Main character sneaks into a house were young girls are in a bed room trying on bras. Main character peeps through the door and watches them without them knowing
Kind of,Ed babysits two kids and decides to take them to his house at night without the parents permission and shows off his skin mask and severed head. He returns them and the parents go off at him / nearly called the police. Also the babysitter who takes his job is kidnapped and held in Eds shed
- 42:30-43:40 on the movie set Hitchcock says “you’re like him” then the actor runs out and v* (visual and audio) - 44:30-45:00 the actor is in therapy and he says after intercourse “I become ill, every time” and he v* (audio and you see him by the toilet) - 54:00-54:20 when people are walking out of the theater, a man says “My wife is going into labor!” and a moment later another man v* in a bin. Hitchcock hands him a tissue and says “here. You keep it.” and the man v* again. (audio but you don’t see his face/mouth)
EP 7: - When Ed talks about a lady skinning a pig and how the sight bl00d upsets him, he says “I v*ed right then and there” but there is no visual nor audio
I didn't see any slurs, but there is a scene where Alfred Hitchcock is talking to the actor that will play Ed,saying he was chosen because he has a 'sickness', similar to what Ed had. The actor is gay. There is also a therapist scene with the actor talking about how to stop him from being gay using language like 'get better' and it cuts to him receiving electric shock therapy.
Presents baseless theories that Gein (who murdered women and girls) was a transgender woman. Way too much pacing is detected to panties, which Gein didn’t care about.
