at ~1:36:00, a man's head is bashed in with a guitar. it's pretty graphic, but short and consists of only a couple frames.

There is mention of someone burned in a car but it isn't shown and it's ambiguous as to whether they were alive at the time.

Not during the movie, but in the end credit scenes there are animated shadows of dogs hanging, references to the dog killer abound through the movie.

There is talk of the death of a parent but nothing is shown onscreen and turns out not to be the whole story.

There are mentions of suicide in a graphic novel, a character is purported to have committed suicide though the implication is that it was more likely murder, and some characters may be inadvertently committing suicide even if they don't know/think that's what's going to happen.

It's not a bad/sad ending per se, it's a bit ambiguous. But definitely not a wrapped up happy one.

No, but there is a death scene in the water even if the cause of death isn't drowning.

If you want to skip the animated dog death - stop watching after the animated actor shoots himself, a little after 19:0 or so.
If you want to skip the simulated, albeit realistic, dead dog, stop watching when the main character starts following dog treats around 20:00.
At 21:00 you should be past the dream sequence and past all of it.
