To add to the previous comment: the spider that appears near the four minute mark (and reappears crawling up her leg, then one last time in a flashback later on) is huge and its movement is the focal point of the shot (driven home by accompanied tapping sounds as it walks). Its a type of daddy long legs. The supersized ones that are found in the boonies rather than the small ones in the suburbs. I wish I had prepared myself more for that scene so I wanted to give these extra details.
