ReportA Harvard anthropologist is sent to Haiti to retrieve a strange powder that is said to have the power to bring human beings back from the dead. There is definitely animal abuse in this movie. There is rooster fighting. A sea worm is dropped into a jar with a poisonous toad to frighten the toad into becoming more toxic before being used as potion ingredients. A man intentionally poisons a goat. Even though it is not meant to be cruel, a dove is held by its feet and waved around as good luck.
