Two years after the terrifying events that occurred in Woodsboro, Sidney is now attending Windsor College in Cincinnati, and Gale Weathers' best selling book on Sidney's life has now been made into a major motion picture. When two college students are killed in a theatre while watching the new film 'Stab', Sidney knows deep down that history is repeating itself.

It's a horror movie revolving around a female protagonist who is stalked and attacked, so that kind of comes with the territory. It's also worth mentioning, as this might be particularly hard to watch for some, that the second person who dies on screen is a Black woman and her death is quite brutal and takes place in a public space where people don't come to her rescue because they falsely assume it's a publitcity stunt, not a real murder happening.
