Part of all the movies is someone was harmed in that way before the first movie, nothing shown only mentioned and if im remembering right this movie barely mentions it twice if at all

A character clings to the hood of a car which crashes into a parked truck carrying metal pipes. One of the pipes goes into his skull and passes through his eye. The body is shown from side views and it is mentioned that the pipe went through his eye but a close shot of his face is not shown.

Another charcter is shot, and a close up of his eyes is shown. You can see blood pooling in his eyes but the eye itself is not outwardly injured.

hyperventilation as a result of panic and/or running is heard a few times but not graphically depicted, as well as a man choking/gurgling on blood after his throat is cut

At least one character is knocked unconscious. Several more are injured and presumed dead, though some of them survive.

Spoiler: when Cici is killed, you briefly see her body on the ground from a distance and limbs are clearly broken

Torture can be mental too. That's what most of this series is for poor Sidney.

A character falls down some stairs and is a little banged up, but he's able to get up and keep going.

someone falls from a balcony but was already injured, its hard to tell what exactly they died from but if you find this triggering then it will probably need skipping (spoilers ahead)

the blonde sorority girl will be chased by ghostface through the house, once he throws her through the balcony window he will stab her a couple times - this is where you should skip about a minute or two

somewhat debatable. no specific mental illness is mentioned, but some characters say things along the lines of "you'd have to be crazy/psycho to want to kill people"

lots of squelching and gurgling, classic audio gore but could be triggering. also a scene with some chewing and packets rustling but that's not particularly intense

(very minor spoilers) sidney says she suspects a person is gay and later this person dies, they are a background character and it is never confirmed that they are gay

A character describes another character as "homo-repressed." I didn't notice any other hate speech in the movie besides that.

Actually, yeah. Gets stabbed in the face, in a bathroom, pretty graphic really. 2nd victim is a black woman, stabbed multiple times in a crowded theater while screaming for help, no one realizes it's serious until she's already dead. Another black woman is stabbed later in the movie.

this one has a lot less sexual content than the first movie, theres a scene where you think that things may escalate but it stops before anything happens and people are fully clothed

This is a slasher. There is a lot of blood. As Randy said in his “Rules of a Sequel” “Number two: the death scenes are always much more elaborate. More blood, more gore. Carnage candy”
